Overview

Managing several medications gets complicated fast, especially if they were prescribed by different providers at different times. A primary care provider who sees your whole list can help catch interactions, simplify your routine, and keep everything current.

How ongoing primary care can help

Your provider will review your full medication list, recent labs, and how you're tolerating each medication, then adjust dosages, consolidate where possible, and send refills to your pharmacy.

Frequently asked questions

Can medication management & refills really be managed over telehealth?
In many cases, yes. A primary care provider can evaluate your symptoms and history over video, review any recent labs, and help adjust your treatment plan when appropriate. For some chronic conditions, especially if they are uncontrolled, our providers may need to collect/complete vital signs, physical exams, lab tests, or imaging which requires an in person visit. Our providers will help you take the next step.
Do I need to keep seeing the same provider?
Continuity helps, as seeing the same provider over time means they already know your history and current plan, which usually means faster, more informed visits.
What if I need to be seen in person?
If your provider determines your condition needs an in-person exam, testing, or treatment they can't provide virtually, they'll let you know and help direct you to the right next step.
