Overview

Hormonal changes don't happen all at once, and neither should your care plan. Regular check-ins help your provider adjust your treatment as your symptoms change over time.

How ongoing primary care can help

Your provider will review your symptoms and health history to discuss treatment options, which may include hormone therapy, non-hormonal medication, or lifestyle strategies, adjusting as needed at follow-up visits.

Frequently asked questions

Can menopause & hormone health really be managed over telehealth?
In many cases, yes. A primary care provider can evaluate your symptoms and history over video, review any recent labs, and help adjust your treatment plan when appropriate. For some chronic conditions, especially if they are uncontrolled, our providers may need to collect/complete vital signs, physical exams, lab tests, or imaging which requires an in person visit. Our providers will help you take the next step.
Do I need to keep seeing the same provider?
Continuity helps, as seeing the same provider over time means they already know your history and current plan, which usually means faster, more informed visits.
What if I need to be seen in person?
If your provider determines your condition needs an in-person exam, testing, or treatment they can't provide virtually, they'll let you know and help direct you to the right next step.
